Daredevil and Green Lantern
An unlikely duo to be sure, but I think that the whole "fearless" angle could make for an interesting story. Matt Murdock and Hal Jordan's common traits don't stop there though - they both have had fairly rocky romantic histories, jumping from one relationship to another, often with disastrous results.

Which 'Scarecrow' is it, DC's or Marvel's?
This is more of a Jonathan Crane plot, I think...
Reminds me of the posters for the spy send-up, Jonny English: He Knows No Fear. He
Knows No Danger. He Knows Nothing.
Definitely sounds more like Jonathan Crane than the Scarecrow of Oz. Although with the heroes of today's cover. No fear. No brains. Can they beat the Wizard?
Funny you should do this team. I was just thinking of a cover where DD was recruited to the Corps. Great work Ross!--Gregg
This doesn't seem like quite an unlikely duo as you suggest, Ross, and for largely the same reason you give: both DD and GL are noted for their fearlessness. And certainly their pairing is no stranger than some of the close friendships of DC's Silver Age: Green Lantern and Green Arrow, Superman and Batman, et al.
On another note, I've been trying for a while to come up with someone to team with Iron Beetle; perhaps you could recolor Daredevil to match the Golden Age Mister Terrific and call him Mister Dare? Access brings them into being to combat some amalgamated villain or other....
Actually, the fearlessness angle would make such a story, in a real-world comic, both interesting _and_ highly likely. Although, the villainous side would require some balancing out, as the DC Scarecrow might be diabolically brilliant. But, he's hardly powerful enough to stymie this heroic duo on his own. Not with Hal Jordan's power ring on their side!
So, I'm thinking Dr. Doom as the manipulative ally of convenience? After all, he once stole the Silver Surfer's Power Cosmic! So, why wouldn't he covet a will-powered ring? Plus, he might still bear Old Hornhead a grudge after that Ovoid transmigration incident.
I've always thought this pair would make an interesting team for just the reason you mentioned.
As for Johnathon Crane not being a match for GL's ring, wasn't he briefly a member of the Sinestro Corp? Couldn't he be reinstated?
It might be more fitting for the Scarecrow to be Marvel's Ebenezar Laughton. Perhaps, wearing one of Nekron's Black Lantern rings!
Cover idea: Ted Grant and Jack Murdoch were boxing rivals and now Wildcat wants to take on Daredevil in the ring. Or something like that.
There's an early Wildcat/DD STF cover along those very lines, just check the archives
Where is Mr. Terrific? The Defender of Fear Play?
"Fear Play"! Ha! Those words would definitely be on Mister Dare's chest!
@Fuunyaccent: More like a Bizarro-World version of same. :-)
Well, DC did have a villain called something along the lines of 'Mr Terrible' [IIRC], whose jacket bore the slogan "Foul Play"...
@Simreeve: I'll bet he was a sometime ally of Dr. Chaos. ;-)
"Matthew Murdock of Earth, you have the ability to overcome great fear. Welcome to the Gr... I mean, welcome to the F# Bell Corps."
