Sgt. Rock and Rogue Trooper
I must confess to not knowing a whole lot about Rogue Trooper, but from what I have learned, he is a pretty cool character. Created in the pages of 2000 AD by Gerry Finley-Day and Dave Gibbons, Rogue Trooper fights on an alternate world against a Traitor General with the help of three allies in the from of biochips mounted on his equipment. Sounds like a guy who could keep up with the likes of Easy Company's grizzled leader!

I've never heard of Rogue Trooper, but "Rock 'n' Rogue" sounds cool.
Huh.
Interesting combination. That's the best part of a team-up; like B&B, DC Comics Presents, Marvel-Two-In-One or Marvel Team-up, pairing an A-lister with an unknown...
We just need Nick Fury there as well for back up.
I love this mash up. Rogue Trooper is my favorite series to come out of the 2000 AD. The war is hell aspect of the Future War setting parallels nicely with the Sgt. Rock themes. The war between the Norts. And the Southers is analogous to WWII. I think the best part is how Rogue carries the "Ghosts" of his dead comrades as bio-chips in his gear and his weapons. This allows exposition to play more naturally as conversation. Also artists like Cam Kennedy, Steve Dillon, and Dave Gibbons created a beautiful rendering of the horrors of Nu-Earth
