Thank you for a George Perez / John Byrne cover! Makes me think of my childhood when those two legends were just killing it every month - love to seem them together!
Interesting! This is the first time Ralph and Jean have worked together since STF #3651. And the first time Ralph and Reddy have been a mere duo since STF #4487! I will wildly guess that the Construct has taken over Cerebro and teleported a mind-controlled JLA and X-men off-world to CONQUER THE UNIVERSE! But, somehow, I don't think it's that simple.
I eagerly await tomorrow's super-spectacular. :-)
OH, the suspense! the suspense!! Ralph on the X-Men team would have been interesting ...having his body mutated to work with the gingo!
Gingo is the name of the fruit. The liquid extract with the super-flexibility effect is pronounced "gingold." :-)
I wonder if the Golden Age Red Tornado met the Silver Age one.
Ah, there's who I was trying to think of the other day -- Ma Hunkel, the Golden Age Red Tornado! That is who I'd like to see given the power of Captain Universe!
Oh, and Ross: This is a fascinating cover. I could imagine where, at the end, they come across Moon Knight, who witnessed the other X-Men and JLAers being abducted by Kang and/or the Time Trapper. That could lead into later stories with Beast, Iceman, and Angel team up with the LSH, and the other JLAers get dropped into Conan's lap. It all may need a little help from a certain time-traveler with a blue box.
I have no idea WHO you mean. ;-D
Don't worry...neither do I.
"Doctor, Doctor, give me the news.
I got a bad case of time travel blues!"
"Then put the lime in the coconut to cure your mental lapse.
Then relax by turning off all your cell phone apps!"
