Believe it or not, I finished reading the trade paperback reprint of "Avengers vs. Aliens." Whoa! Epic...but depressing.
Hopefully, your writing of this, as real-world crossover, would have a comparatively happier ending.
And both shared filming locations!

Only if the first one did well, both commercially and critically, in brick-and-mortar theaters.
I can imagine the in-story scenario of their first meeting.
"An android named Delorean helped me salvage and restore one of your Batmobiles, so we could install it with something called a flux capacitor. That's how I was able to come back in time to stop him before it's too late!"
