This is The Metal Men's Fourth run-in with Ultron. He was last seen attempting to make a bride of Platinum in STF #4619, He tried to make the team his slaves in STF #3466, and they first met when he was after Doc Magnus in STF #1836. Let's hope they can finally stop him for good this time!

In Ultron's image? Are all the Metal Men going to have to change their names to Adamantium? That could get confusing.
@Alaric: If the 5 George Foremen can handle it...
@Ross: is this a tweaking of the cliff-hanger from War Of The Independents #1?
Never read that, so I wouldn't know.
And then suddenly Machine Man and G.I. Robot show up to save the day!
Maybe they can be Adamantium, Vibranium, Secondary Adamantium, Antarctic Vibranium, and Carbonadium
Maybe Ultron is still trying to recruit them as allies.
With each appearance he seems to be testing their.....METTLE!
Just FYI, 3 issues left until STF #5000!
Re your comment @Alaric_ or the members of the German noble House of Reuss, which controlled two small principalities in Thuringia right up until 1919, in which EVERY male was named Heinrich...
@Namesake and Cary: believe me, you didn't miss anything worthwhile. It was supposed to be a six-issue mini-series circa 2009? First issue didn't hit news stands till 2011. And it took four years to get the only three subsequent issues mass marketed before Dave Ryan evidently just plain gave up!
"Upon utterance of which, he didst 'steel' away into the night."
@Aaron: in other words, new Elements of Doom?
"Yes, Daviticus, there is a Santa Claus"
And it's in Spencer County, Indiana.
I always thought it was in Virginia. ;-)
Seriously, though; has Ultron ever gone up against the robotic Capt. Marvel? Or are the odds against that too unevenly "Split!"
