Black Manta Vs. Attuma

Say what you want about the DCEU Aquaman movies, they had some great action sequences and Black Manta was visualized very well.  James Wan definitely remembered what made the villain so cool to all of us kids reading of his exploits or watching Super Friends back in the day.

I remember watching him in those Filmation cartoons from 1967! Voiced by a pre-MTM Ted Knight, he was pretty b****s for a Saturday morning cartoon villain. He even tried to kill Aquaman (voiced by Marvin Miller) with a pair of undersea martial art weapons! Sort of a cross between sais and garden trowels.

I bet five sand dollars on Black Manta for the win.

This rates 5 out of 5 gold star(fishe)s for how much I'd want to actually read this story.

The two Aquaman and two Shazam movies were the best things to come out of the DCEU.

Nothing else.

True! Long black hair and matching beard aside, Jason Mamoa's Aquaman was a lot more comic book faithful than the MCU Namor.

This could also have been called "Sword Fight At The O.K. Coral (Reef)."

P.S. ---I am not a row boat.

But, as for he and Attuma being the most powerful duo in the ocean? I think the Submariner and his long-lost brother Black Adam would've had something contrary to say about that!
