Quasar and Space Ghost

Quasar was one of those Marvel heroes that I expected to eventually break our and become a heavy hitter, but he never quite did.  Still, I generally enjoyed his appearances.  He did seem like he might have fit better in the DCU rather than Marvel - maybe it was his very Silver Age style costume.

I felt the same way, too, Ross. And you're right about his look. He was clearly modeled after the Silver Age versions of both Superman and Green Lantern. Which was definitely a good thing as far as I'm permanently concerned! What they (comic book superheroes) symbolized sixty years ago we are in desperate need of right now. I just hope we can get back it.

I mean, that costume (with a few minor alterations) actually predates the Silver Age- the original Marvel Boy debuted in 1950.

So, is Space Ghost an ACTUAL ghost now?

Not if Quasar pulls a Constantine (a la those DCAU OAV's).

For a while I've been trying to remember who the two characters were that were largely agreed that one seemed like a DC character in Marvel, while the other seemed like a Marvel character in DC. This answers the first half.

If the Big Two had ever carried through with the hinted-at "Secret Crisis," they could've made news by trading the two characters at the end.

Oh, and Halloween's coming up! Maybe we can get a photo cover where "Scooby-Doo Spends Five Nights at Freddy's"!

As in an earlier e-mail, maybe Space Ghost vs. Miraidon, and Mightor vs. Koraidon.

@Bob I've actually always felt that Captain America felt the most like a DC character that was being published by Marvel. Way back when Ross had him joining thy Justice Society of America, it felt like the most natural thing to me.

And Birdman vs. Cyclizar?

Only if it were being ridden by one of Team Rocket!
