Seeing Ghostbusters and Superman II in the theater as a kid are two of my favorite movie memories. I wanted to find a way to combine those two franchises and the using Phantom Zone villains seemed like the way to do it.

You could follow this up with Ghostbusters with Men in Black!!
I love this Phantom Zone alien Ghosts!! Beautiful!!
ummm, Where's Winston??
Investigating reports down in Salem, North Carolina of a giant inky-black spider and a guy in a green leotard wearing a fish bowl for a helmet.
P.S.---seamless job on today's cover, Ross. I bet you could've even incoporated a photo-capture from the new Thunderbolts' trailer! :-)
For all we really know, the Phantom Zone is where the Ghostbusters have been sending all of those ghosts in the first place.
Maybe Filmation’s Ghost Busters could meet Hanna-Barbera’s Pac-Man; the ghost villains turn into eyes like ghost monsters when zapped, and Prime Evil resembles Mezmaron.
Maybe the “unreal” ghostbusters could meet Pac-Man; the ghost villains turn to eyes like ghost monsters and prime evil resembles mezmaron.
Beautiful!
Whoa! Deja vu!
That'd be a great premise for a sequel: DOOMSDAY VS. GOZER (as Capt. Sta-puft)!
Or, failing that, how about Man-Bat vs. Blackwing? Or Darth Vader vs. the Saticons?
I can see it now: DARTH ZACHARY...DARK LORD OF THE SMITH!
When there's something weird... in Metropolis... who ya gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS!
Dear Ross: There's a running gag in the new Xmas action-comedy, "Red One," that's inspired me to ask if, the next time you do a movie poster simulation, could you do one featuring Chris Evans and Gal Gadot as Cap and WW?
I mean, STF's favorite All-American couple hasn't appeared together, here, in 501 issues!
I'd buy this comic! This cover promises a good story
Or the ghost of a chance for one. ;-)
This would have been huge.
The Phantom Zone image there reminds me of the original cover for Queen's Greatest Hits album.
