Superman and Ghostbusters

Seeing Ghostbusters and Superman II in the theater as a kid are two of my favorite movie memories. I wanted to find a way to combine those two franchises and the using Phantom Zone villains seemed like the way to do it.

  3. P.S.---seamless job on today's cover, Ross. I bet you could've even incoporated a photo-capture from the new Thunderbolts' trailer! :-)

  4. For all we really know, the Phantom Zone is where the Ghostbusters have been sending all of those ghosts in the first place.

    1. That'd be a great premise for a sequel: DOOMSDAY VS. GOZER (as Capt. Sta-puft)!

  5. Maybe Filmation’s Ghost Busters could meet Hanna-Barbera’s Pac-Man; the ghost villains turn into eyes like ghost monsters when zapped, and Prime Evil resembles Mezmaron.

    1. Or, failing that, how about Man-Bat vs. Blackwing? Or Darth Vader vs. the Saticons?

  8. Dear Ross: There's a running gag in the new Xmas action-comedy, "Red One," that's inspired me to ask if, the next time you do a movie poster simulation, could you do one featuring Chris Evans and Gal Gadot as Cap and WW?

  10. This would have been huge.

The Phantom Zone image there reminds me of the original cover for Queen's Greatest Hits album.
