Congrats on your 5000th cover in general! And, as usual, you've blended the different pieces of real-world artwork together quite seamlessly. Although, I must confess, I always found the in-flight version of the modern Ray a little disconcerting. More Sunspot of the New Mutants given a fast-ball special by Colossus!
P.S.---I also love the new color-coding. Wakes a person up faster than caffeine, itself ! :-)
Yes! This is a brilliant pairing that I never would've come up with myself. And the visual is perfect!
A superhero team of royalty would be interesting. Like Black Panther, Namor, Black Bolt, Wonder Woman, Geo-Force and Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld. These are all marvel and dc characters, but i think you see where my brain went when i thought of a team of different royals.

I think Shamus has a decent idea there. You can call the team The Rulers. Princess Projectra, Conan, and He-Man might also be included.

Suppose you did something different: Judge Dredd is time pushed and meets Sgt Rock.
