It is still unclear whether we will be seeing Shuri suit up in a Panther costume in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but I enjoyed when that happened in the comics, so I hope we do. My guess is that there will be more than one candidate in the movie to don the mantle, so it will be interesting to see how it all plays out - especially against the backdrop of the emergence of Namor and Marvel's Atlantis.

"Shuri, Shuri, Shuri! Step right up and see the first female Panther in Wakandan history!"
Seriously, though: this is a great action shot. Are these insectoids supposed to be Replicators from the comic book spin-off of STARGATE:SG-1?
There's been no other Black Panther in the comics (that I've been able to find, anyway), so presumably Shuri will be the one to take up the mantle.
I agree with Cary about this cover: great action shot! Also this has a good choice of art pieces; they go together well.
(And I'm also a bit curious about the giant mantises!)
If memory serves, there was a costumed Caucasian called "The Black Panther" who was published by Centaur Comics during the Golden Age.
But, nowadays, he operates out of Malibu (if you catch my drift).
P.S. @ Bob Greenwade: I'm wondering if they're of Lovecraftian origin.
"The Love Craft soon will be making us scream and run.
The Love Craft promises danger for everyone."
Jimminy Crickets!! What a cover!
I was thinking they kind of reminded me of Zorak.
You mean, the Lovecraftian-looking version from that 2005 DC mini-series?
How about a challenge? Classic Howard the Duck and Brother Power.
Ooops! I forgot to specify. That should've read "...DC's 2005 SPACE GHOST mini-series."
