Indiana Jones and Metamorpho

It always seemed to me that Rex Mason was sort of an Indiana Jones-type adventurer before his exposure to the Orb of Ra, so I figured it was only natural that they may know each other in a professional capacity at least.  Like most film projects, production has been pushed back on the next Indiana Jones movie, but it is still a go.  It's going to be interesting to see another director's take on Indy, and how he handles a hero nearing 80 years old.

after seeing young Indy and the old Indy on TV years ago, it might not be much of a stretch. Now to see Harrison on Picard or the Orville, that would be something.

Cross the streams. Have Indiana meet Doc Brown.

I just hope that new director doesn't go with the novagenarian Nick Fury look (seen in half the episodes from THE YOUNG INDY CHRONICLES).

Not bad, Ross. How about a sequel where Rex's Cousin Perry has to defend him on a murder charge? You could call it...

"FREE MASON!"

Possibly guest-starring Gates & Pool.

In contrast (somewhat) with the Anonymous poster above, I do hope that this film shows us how Indy lost that eye (probably at the climax).

Also, I favor Cary's suggestion, just for the title. It might be necessary to use Matt Murdock or Jen Waters as his lawyer, but I'd still love to see it.

PS: A suggestion to set aside, Ross: On the eventual occasion of Harrison Ford's passing, a photo-cover with Indy and Han.

I still think it's a mistake.

Why not add other cousins Cleopatra, Rudy (Parasite) and Rick Jones. Title it keeping up with the Joneses!

A fine concept, and fitting to the characters, but one of those rare exceptions where the execution just doesn't sell me. The individual characters' styles don't really jibe with each other or the background.

Sorry.

@Isaac: "The Joneses" has been done (STF #2850).

@Daviticus: Well, time for a sequel!

MARVEL's Indiana Jones Book was the best illustrated Indiana Jones series (Mini Maxi or on going) Sorry Dark Horse, but you know you're still my girl.

@Anonymous824: If you're referring to my "mistake" comment, I wasn't talking about the cover.
