The Falcon and Metamorpho

Here there be Avengers: Endgame spoilers....

It was very cool to see Captain America hand over his shield and title to Sam Wilson, but it does raise some questions.  I can understand the honor not going to Bucky, given his history of mind controlled acts at the behest of nefarious actors.  But Bucky has super-powered abilities and a bionic arm, while The Falcon has no special abilities despite being skilled with the use of his mechanical wings.  Will he be able to wield the shield in the way Cap did?  Could any human do so without benefit of the Super Soldier serum?  It will be interesting to see how this is addressed in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier Disney+ show.

Before today's comments are hijacked again, let me point out to Fiddle Faddle that the light in the building in today's cover is Green Lantern interviewing Felix the Cat.

P.S. Nice work again, Ross.

Now you've done it Ross. Your comment trigered something I never thought about before. In Endgame, when we learned about Steve's secret life, what happened to "him" after Civil War when Tony said he went crazy? There was a national manhunt out for him. This is why time travel stories are not that easy to do correctly.

And Ross, would you please stop giving Rex "the bird".He's had it bad enough never making it to the Arrowverse since Stagg was killed off by Eobard.

Would you consider matching Rex with Obsidian vs. Spider-Man villain, the Sandman?

Given the way they've treated other series from that web-channel, "The Falcon & The Winter Soldier" is more likely to go the way of "Snip." Cancelled before it's even aired!

Elongated Man, Martian Manhunter, Vixen and Cisco (has been reported to be in Flash yr 6) might still get to Detroit during the Crisis, either Earth's wouldn't make any difference. Keep hoping.

With Disney thinking outside the box in choosing an actress to play Ariel in the live-action
Little Mermaid movie (though Mulan was Chinese-looking in the live-action reboot planned), maybe Angela Ponce (Miss Universe Spain 2018) could play Esmeralda in the live-action reboot of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"; Ponce's international costume in the Miss Universe pageant, which resembles, by the way, Esmeralda's standard outfit, was, surprisingly, wholesome-looking.

I think the Disney show will become known as "Cap's Pals". All they need is for a Steve Rogers advisor to become modelled after "Spiderman and friends" to be called "Captain America and Friends".

Will one of those friends be a trained hawk named Redwing (possibly from Detroit)?

Yes! Rex meets the Impossible Man who makes him human again in green skin.
Gar meets him and asks how did he join the family.

Can this be followed by Redwing and Element Dog and Zook ? The animal sidekick universe stretches on. Dr Midnight's owl may be seen again as well.

Vixen's already in Detroit; that's her home town. It souldn't be that hard to send the other three -- plus, possibly, Gypsy -- there to meet up with her; the only real obstacle would be Megalyn Echikunwoke's schedule (which has tended to be the problem in the past).

@Bob Greenwade: isn't that how Jabba the Hutt referred to Chewbacca in SWEp.6:ROTJ? As an "echikunwookiee?"

@carycomic: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhm! No.
