Robin Vs. Kang
People just love to make fun of this adult Robin outfit, but I have loved it since I first saw it in Justice League of America #55. Maybe it was because that was the first time I had seen a teenage counterpart actually get the chance to take over his mentor's role. The legacy aspect of DC's characters are a big part of what makes them special, and it was great to see on display even way back then.

"You aren't even supposed to exist."
LOL! Great in-joke reference.
All the versions of Robin could fight the Council of Cross-Time Kangs.
I've loved it, too. That image looks modern. Where's it from?
@Cary: Oh, yeah! That mysterious voice that spoke to Dick after the (increasingly misnamed) Final Crisis.
The concept behind this cover is absolutely stellar. The execution is quite spectacular as well. Well done, sir!
This is a masterpiece.
I agree with you totally, Ross. I think it's a shame, though, that DC never had Dick actually take over the Batman mantle. Even just on Earth-Two, that would have been truly groundbreaking.
I also agree with all of the comments before me. Somewhere along the line you could probably make a cover with everyone who has ever been Robin, though not necessarily against multiple Kangs -- maybe against Jamie Madrox.
So it was Kang's infernal meddling in the time stream that wiped out the Earth-Two universe! Kiss his @$$, Robin!
You could have whole the JSA going after him!
M.P.
Thanks, Cary, Sonofjack, Steven!
Not sure where, Scott, found it on a Google search, Convergence somewhere, I figured
David, Bob - I did do a Robin/Kitty Pryde cover that dealt with the many Robins at least...
i liked the earth 2 robin too!!!!
I'm with you. I've thought this admittedly hokey outfit worked, right from the get-go.
Rip Off
I'm on the list of people who like that costume, too.

I think that the version of him in Convergence was seriously considering the possibility by the time that that story ended.
And then the Captcha that I had to solve in order to post the above comment was a 'street signs' one featuring the junction of Wayne Avenue & -- only a couple of letters out from what one might have hoped -- Greydon Avenue...
^_^
I remember being startled about the concept of an Earth-2 when I first read that JLA/JSA two-parter guest-starring the counterpart Robins! But, it was a delightful startlement.
If only DC hadn't spoiled things with that totally unnecessary COIE.
@Dave, Bob, and Ross: the back links show Jubilee only being used once. And the only Robin on the cover was the TD version!
Adult Earth 2 Robin's costume would look better if his cape included a cowl - one which did not interfere with his eyesight.
