The Spectre Vs. The Punisher
This is a match up I would love to see, even if it might only last seconds! I can see Jim Corrigan and Frank Castle knowing each other early in life and then having a confrontation after they had taken on their costumed personas. The Spectre would want to make him pay for his actions, but I am sure that The Punisher would call him on his hypocrisy.

Really neat, this is actually close to an idea I always thought would be cool... Spectre and the Shadow. Possibly with Kent Allard taking up the role as the new Spirit of Vengeance.
While it isn't the classic Golden Age idea I dreamed of... still very cool.
Another great pairing. And for something completely different, I wonder how the Spectre would interact with Caspar, the Friendly Ghost...
Frank Castle could even become the Spectre. It's had other hosts than Jim Corrigan.
Frank would also be a good candidate for the Red Lantern Corps.
This entry made me think of a Nexus/Spectre or Nexus/Punisher bit.
More likely, they'd realize they're more similar than different. Resulting in the Punisher's luck finally running out...and his ghost replacing Jim Corrigan's as the host for the Spectre.
It would be an interesting story to write. Punisher probably would call Spectre on his hypocrisy, but would be blind to his own. It's take a good writer to sort out all the moral complexities but it could be a great story.
My thought ran pretty close to Cary's.
Also, at first my mind read "Panther" for "Punisher'" which made me think: how about Black Panther and Pink Panther? They're two pretty disparate characters, sure, but no more so (or at least not much more) than Daredevil with Calvin and Hobbes.
Dave and Cary had the right ideas.
Bob had the right idea.
@Anon: don't be so modest. Bob had the _better_ idea!*
*As it's just "Daffy" enough to work.
@Carycomic: as in, "Daffy and the rest of Fowl Force meet Spider-man?"
I was thinking more along the lines of "Daffy and Porky meet Spider-Ham!"
What would you call such a team-up? "Webbed Feats?"
