Superman and Machine Man & Jocasta

Brainiac's "skull" ship is one of my favorite vessels in comics.  Not only does it look cool, it perfectly represents the vanity of the villain that commandeers it.  I am glad that even though Brainiac himself has been redesigned multiple times since its first appearance, the ship has more or less stood the test of time.

Superman and Machine Man crossed paths once before back in STF #770...

Knowing Brainiac, he'd probably want to make himself and Jocasta the cybernetic Adam and Eve of some extra-terrestrial world (like the war-ravaged planet Mega of Filmation fame).

Has Brainiac met any of the Transformers yet?

In the pre-crisis universe I only followed Superman during Marv Wolfman's run when he split Superman into 2 people and later when Brainiac was reinvented with the new robotic form and the first appearance of the new ship. I started reading Superman and Action Comics after Crisis when John Bryne reintroduced Superman but I was disappointed when he reintroduced Brainiac as a circus performer but watching his evolution into one of the most dangerous aliens in the DC Universe was interesting to follow

Is Machine Man related to Inspector Gadget?

I always thought that Machine Man was an underused and underrated character.

By the way, isn't it ironic that in order to have my comments posted here I have to prove that I'M not a robot?!

A robot would probably find the captcha easier than I do.
