Hal Jordan first encountered Galactus way back in STF #254 from 2012, and it was time that they share a cover again. This time around, it looks like they may be working together though - and that would make me curious enough to pick up this issue.

Oh, dear! This is definitely a case of the solution being potentially worse than the problem. Is OA on a collision course with a Black Lantern version of Ego?
ok...Mr G eats energy on a large basis. the Oa's control green energy. A virus type that they can't extinguish? Mr G becomes "the quicker picker upper"! and later??
Never, *ever* attempt to chow down on both Ego AND Mogo, at the exact same time.
In this instance, Galactus' eyes really were bigger than his stomach. ;)
Wouldn't an undead Ego actually be a No-go?
Maybe that's one of the terms in the bargain that Mogo made with the Beyonder back @ STF #4900 (Sept. 2025). If Galactus did finally succeed in consuming both living planets, the Beyonder was to restore Mogo and Ego to full sentient corporeality using the Spectre as Pepto-Bismol (see STF #1297 @ 11/1/2015 and STF #3845 @ 1/23/2022). In return, the GL Corps would help rebuild the Ross-verse after some kind of cosmic disagreement with Mr. Mxyzptlk (see STF #3750 @ 7/20/2022 and STF #3328 @ 5/24/2021).
Just a mild case of cosmic indigestion. All he needs is a planet with an ocean full of Pepto Bismol and he'll be alright.
OK, now Anon@9:44 has me imagining a cover featuring Matter-Eater Lad vs. Galactus...
"I must consume this planet..."
"Not if *I* eat it first!"
LOL! Good one! :-)
Well, Matter-Eater Lad comes from a planet _named_ Bismoll...
Something else that just came to my mind: Scooby-Doo vs. Kang the Conqueror in: "Ghoul and the Kang!"
Good point! :-)
With special guest-stars, the Pet Avengers?
Btw: did anybody else hear the rumor that ex-EARLY EDITION star Kyle Chandler will be playing Hal Jordan on an HBO series version of GREEN LANTERN? If there's any truth to it, I hope they don't turn it into the same R-rated sounding travesty that TEEN TITANS all too quickly became.
Or, failing that, Scooby and DOCTOR WHO's K-9 vs. Kang?
Great cover, if Galactus did come to Lantern U, would Larfleeze reluctantly give him an orange ring due to his hunger, maybe G would get red, and yellow too, G is frightening. New color ful costume?
On the other hand, pun intended, Surfer might get the green blue indigo and violet.rings
Combined they might be like Kyle when he absorbed all the specrum rings.
A possible title: A night in the rain bow sky room … lol
Ross, thanks for your awesome work.
OT ,
How about a cover of satire mascots like Alfred E Neuman, Obnoxio the clown, Sly P smyth. Etc…
Meet: the Joker, Deadpool , Spider man, Harley Quinn, She hulk , you get the idea, characters with humor, dark or not.
Or versus the Fourth Wall Four!
