The Atom and The Thing
Al Pratt seems to have a similar personality to Ben Grimm, and I think that they would get along. That is, unless they were manipulated into battle by a creep like The Wizard!

Ah! But, is this the Bentley Wittman version (from the Frightful Four) or the William Azard version (of Injustice Society infamy)? Or maybe even some creepy amalgam of the two (a la Iron Beetle)!
Ross only knows. :-)
Wasn't it once spit-balled (@ B&B:TLI #254, copyright Aug. 11, 2011) that this universe is, itself, an amalgam created by the magical prank war between Bat-mite and the Impossible Man? So, it stands to reason that there'd be occasional, smaller-scale amalgams of individuals! In this case, however, I would hazard to guess that this particular "merger" is the proverbial tip of the iceberg. A secondary effect, you might say, of whatever plot was being cooked up, thirty issues back, by Two-Face and the In-Betweener!
I take it this is neither Mandrake nor Zatara the Magician, but rather the rather nasty member of the Frightful Four who fought against the Fantastic Four? Figures that Marvel Comic's token magician characters would rather steal from a child' birthday party (and especially to traumatize the birthday kid) rather than perform in one and entertain them.
You could be half-right.
He looks more like the old Justice Society foe.
it would be Grimm to try to split the Atom with a stick shift!
How do you know it doesn't have "atomatic" transmission?
Do you suppose that Ben Grimm (aka Thing) is related to the witch that told scary stories in Gold Key Comics' Grimm's Ghost Stories?
Who knows? That might've even been Agatha Harkness, herself, using a pen name!
So, Cary... are you suggesting that it was Agatha all along?
[Imitating game show bell]: Ding-ding-ding-ding-ding-ding-ding!
