She-Hulk Vs. Maxima

Apparently, Maxima will make her big screen debut in Man of Tomorrow.  I always enjoyed the character from the Superman comics and I think that it will be a fun role to play for whatever actress lands the part. Who do you think would do the part justice?

Matilda Lutz from last year's remake of Red Sonja has my vote. I mean, if going from barbarian to superhero can work for Jason Mamoa, why not her?

P.S.---I love that secret smirk on Wyatt's face @ upper left. Not all men might love having two beautiful women fighting over them. But, most of them certainly would!

Thought she’d been forgotten

Wait, really??? First I've heard of this! It's got to be Jessica Chastain, right? Niiiice!

Who's Jessica Chastain? I forget.

The one who did the lipstick countdown in "Zero Dark Thirty."

Oh, her! I think she'd better cast as Lana Lang.

Wasn't there a Marvel super-strong woman in the 1970s who was a lot more like Maxima than She Hulk is. I think her name was Thundra and she kept going after Thing (Ben Grimm) of all people (and beating up on him too like Hulk when Ben said no, so... toxic masculinity in a woman?). No concerns whatsoever for his inhuman appearance iirc, which if anything should have flattered a man like him no end but for his love for Alicia.

Maybe... Karen Gillan?

When her backstory as a Femizon from some kind of alternate-future Earth was revealed, it was theorized by Reed Richards that, because of the FF having confiscated Dr. Doom's time platform, Thundra's time travel was sort of magnetically attracted to the Baxter Building. So, initially, she focused on Ben Grimm out of geographic convenience (rather than hunting down stronger types like the Hulk). Then, probably out of Femizon pride, she kept after him because he had initially bested her! Which, in turn, grew into obsessive infatuation that ultimately went nowhere. So, she settled for marrying one of those counterpart Hyperions (of Squadron Supreme fame).

@Anon111: well, you're half-right. She had a brief-but-passionate fling with some Hyperion counterpart. But, she MARRIED Arkon of Polemachus!

If Matilda Lutz was unavailable, I could see her playing Maxima. She kind of reminds me of Annette O'Toole (who played Martha Kent, opposite Tom Welling's Clark, on SMALLVILLE).

is Wyatt considered pure "livestock" for these women??

In the immortal words of Bugs Bunny: "Hmmmm! Could be."

Doesn't Wyatt have a say in the matter?

Facial actions speak louder than words. He's definitely enjoying the fight and--most likely--hoping it's Shulkie who wins.

P.S.---what about Bryce Dallas Howard as Maxima? She was pretty kick-butt as redhead Claire Dearing in the "Jurassic World" trilogy!

She's not really an actress, but I've thought Ilona Maher would look great as Big Barda. But with a red wig, she could be Maxima, too.

and presumably then perished when Polemachus was destroyed by Krona (in JLA/Avengers #1).
