It's too bad we never saw Starro the Conquerer on the Saturday morning cartoons back in the day. I think he would have fit right in in The Super-Friends.

You picked one of my favorite Justice League Adventures covers! Awesome!
Starro is thinking small he should attach himself to Galactus
Actually, Ross, viewers came pretty close back in 1967/68 with the Superman-Aquaman Hour of Adventure on CBS. One of the Aqua-episodes had the Sea King taking on an undersea pirate named Capt. Barracuda* who rode a giant starfish called Starro!
*It makes me wonder if Filmation did a little pastiching from the Marvel character who had debuted in Strange Tales (v.1) #120, roughly four years earlier.
See STF #2342 @ 9/11/18.
Looking like that, Starr could face off* against Ego the Living Planet!
*Pun not intended but appreciated.
Now I wonder how Dr. Doom would deal with matters if Starro decided to come after *him!* Would he attempt to use Starro for his own ends, or just wipe out the competition?
Good question! Dr. Doom has canonically proven he can siphon off the Silver Surfer's power cosmic. He's also demonstrated mastery of that Ovoid version of astral projection/transmigration. Even though Norrin Radd, himself, has stated (@ STF #4785 from last May 20th) that he's immune to possession! So, how would the not-so-good doctor exploit the Surfer's gifts this time around (in order to repel Starro for the sake of Latveria?)
i think Starro was on Brave & the Bold. Love Torch saving the day.
Yep! He was definitely more comic-book faithful in those early Millenial TV appearances than he was in that Filmation episode.
