This is an example of a cover where I had an image that I wanted to use, but which needed to be cleaned up first. sometimes I can't get a nice clean digital image and elements of the page behind it bleed through, so I have to get to work. Here's a look at the behind the scenes progress:

I honestly think you must have the patience of a saint, Ross, not to get flustered into hopelessness by such complex cutting and pasting (or however the process is more usually known). But, there's no denying you came through, yet again!
Speaking of coming through; for the first two second I looked at this cover, I thought Nick and OMAC were arriving at their destination by a new form of teleportal. The Ba-Whoom Tube!
Hmm. Meeting an alien during WWII might make Fury more inclined to head up SHIELD in the future.
Or, in OMAC's case, an alienized Earth man!
There's something of a combat-power imbalance between these two, but on the other hand Fury has knowledge of the location, the time period, and battle tactics that OMAC probably lacks despite being from the future. It ought to make for an interesting tale.
If Nick has met Captain America already, then he might be easily able to deal with 'strange beings' from elsewhen!! Ross, are there any combinations that you decided you don't ever want to do?
How about a Moonstone vs Zatanna cover??
There will never be time to get to everything, but there are no combinations that are off limits
Not even Squadron Supreme vs. the Retaliators?
Or Zatanna teaming up with two Moonstone characters (like, say, Domino Lady and the Spider)?
"Ba-Whoom Tube" ? Lol! Good one. :-)
If you put black paper behind the image it should help cut down on the bleed through when scanning.
Good advice. However, I have never used a scanner for these covers. Everything depends on what images I can find online.
