The Phantom Stranger is a character that I would love to see join the DCU. He may not get his own movie or series, but he could be like a spooky Nick Fury in that he could show up in other character's projects at key moments to offer guidance or assistance. I bet it would be a fun role for an actor to portray.

Hat's off to you for this one again Ross.
@Davejonz: good one! :-)
@Ross: Barclay Hope, who played OSIR Agent Axon on the Canadian TV series "Psi Factor" (hosted by Dan Akroyd), might be an ideal candidate for playing the Phantom Stranger.
At least he was on Brave & the Bold so far....
I always thought Rag Man would make a great movie. Though, not from his perspective. More of a horror themed story from like the perspective of a mob enforcer or a detective investigating the mob. All these reports of missing criminals and the only link they have is whispered advice of, "Beware the Rag Man."
Great pairing!
It's too bad Ryan O'Neal isn't still with us. I think he'd have been perfect as the ghost-breaking Dr. Thirteen in a live-action PS movie!
Phantom Stranger's initials remind me: any chance of someday seeing Dan Brereton's Nocturnals clashing with Lord Pumpkin from the Ultraverse?
The story behind this is very intriguing. The interactions between these two would be quite telling.
I'm still hoping to see the Phantom Stranger team up again with Stephen Strange for "Strange and Stranger!"
And how about another Strange Brothers appearance? Do you have any in the pipeline? They could work on a murder mystery, or find themselves on the Planet of the Apes -- or even have to go up against Mr. Universe!
Also, we're now seeing #4600 on the horizon! Any teases on that, Ross?
Yes, I have plans for the Strange Brothers to return. As for 4600 - a major DC team will face some of Marvel's top Villains...
Has there ever been a “Phantom” team? Phantom Girl, Phantom Rider, Phantom Lady, the Phantom Stranger, The Phantom, and even Danny Phantom?
Reminds me of the time Kolchak teamed up with Doc Savage... https://docfantasycovers.com/267_Doc-BACK.html
Are you, by any chance, related to Bobbo? ;-)
Kolchak may have gotten TOO close to some elementary secret: That monsters exist for a reason, and destroying them, or driving them away will upset the cosmic balance. In this case, maybe the Stranger will be the worst monster of all.
His near-namesake at Marvel fits that description a lot better.
