Zatanna is long overdue for a big screen debut, and I am sure she will be a big part of the cinematic DCU as a team member or even in a solo project. The Shadow had his 90's film, which has its moments - but I think enough time has passed that I'd like to see him adapted again for live action.

the Mystic Maid and the master of mystery - Kaluta was the best artist to work on the Shadow, What poor little Crime Boss is going to have to deal with this pairing…. Dr. Fu Manchu , the Penguin, or. …( i look forward to seeing who others will suggest )
@Simon: My first suggestion would be Dr. Tzin-Tzin and Dormammu. With the not-so-good doctor trying to retrieve something that was confiscated from the late Shiwan Khan back in the Golden Age. Something of occult origin that's now stored at a certain Long Island mansion now known as...Shadow Crest!
P.S.---I would opt for a solo project as Zatanna's silver screen debut. Maybe something involving her father and a previously secret mission during WWII alongside the original Mr. Terrific nee Terry Sloan. The grandfather of her manager Jeffrey Sloan!

Having Z reintroduced as she was in the comics would have all kinds of cameos that could sell more tickets. And it could be more fun that way as she
meets all the different heroes in different ways. Great story here!!
I personally think that Adam Driver would be perfectly cast as The Shadow, in both appearance and form. All he'd need is a good script and a good director.
The .45-caliber twins would be my sure-fire bet.
