The Guardian and Adam Strange

Just like happened to Captain Marvel and Black Panther a week or so ago in STF #4559, it would seem that two disparate heroes have found themselves working together to thwart a gigantic monster. Yikes, just how many of these big guys are lying in wait?

Maybe this one is answering Keith Ulu's call.

I can just imagine Adam Strange journeying to Canada because one of Sardath's zeta beams got deflected toward the Northern Lights. Julie Schwartz was awfully fond of his writers including real-world science facts (like certain constellations only being visible in the Southern Hemisphere)! As for Mount Tannus; I honestly can't remember him. Was he one of Jack Kirby's lesser-known creatures?

He's a Ditko monster. I made up the name.

You're using Guardian, today? Oh, that's right! Today's the Canadian Thanksgiving Day.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our neighbors to the north! :-)

Hey, maybe Sentry 459 is still hanging around somewhere...!

Trying to sneak in a overarching story with these monsters? Are we going to get a few more, then some reason why they're all popping up like this?

This will probably not be the last one, but just a loose theme

You mean, not all the provinces observe the holiday?

You mean, the Kree robot; or the Robert Reynolds of Earth-459?

After being defeated, the monster becomes a famous pop music star for Disney, Hannah Mountannus

Either that, or his posterior becomes a new town: Butt, Montannus!

Mount Annus may try for a DC job next. Guardian might be trying to redirect the Mount that-a-way! Adam might say This is a job for my brother to lance that
Annus!!

^ I read it as Mount Annus too. Is it 1 word or 2?

I wish Alanna Strange would make her solo debut here (without her husband) for something different. Rom's Starshine hasn't been seen on here lately (if ever). The two of them would make an interesting upper atmosphere pairing sometime in the future.

Wonder Man had a jet pack briefly back in the 80s didn't he? That would be a neat team-up with Alanna.

Also Astro Terry from the Star Comics line.

Like in Astro Terry, Starshine, and Alanna Strange meet the Lady Liberators?

The Kree robot. ;-)

I fully endorse and support this "loose theme," and I'd love to see it drawn together to a single villain after a couple of years.

^ What's he talking about? I see Adam Strange now has 53 covers on here & Alanna still has zero.

According to Mike's A. W. of Comics, she has over 100 appearances in the pre-Crisis DC history (right up there with Mera & Hawkgirl of Earth 1) so she is overdue at least one team-up appearance on here. I don't know how many Marvel's Starshine has.

As far as appearances on Earth-STF go? Also zero.

Alanna appeared on the cover of STF #3145 https://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2020/11/adam-strange-and-ghost-rider.html
