A mutant with adamantium fingernails versus the wielder of the Soultaker Sword - this would certainly be a battle that would draw some blood. But who would emerge as the ultimate victor?

I don't know, Ross. But, Lady Shiva would probably be waiting to take on the winner...and Deathstroke would be probably be waiting to marry her!
I agree with your first suggestion. If only because Lady Shiva has yet to even debut, here!
I wonder if the people of game freak might have a pretty girl Pokémon in a fighting gi in an upcoming Pokémon game.
I'd want to read this comic with a notepad on hand, just so I could:
1. Make a list of the different sound effect words used for metal striking metal, and
2. Tally the number of times the most frequent one is used.
Fantastic looking cover, but who's the artist(s)?
David Finch/Jim Lee
Thanks Ross
Katana was one of Mike W. Barr & Jim Aparo best creations in the 1980s. It's a shame Barr never fully explored the possibilities of the Soultaker Sword. Actually I never really followed the teams numerous re-boots (lost interest without the art of Jim Aparo, frankly). The original incarnation coming out of Brave & the Bold remains my favorite comic of the Bronze Age, and all time really.
But, if not possible, I'd settle for Deathstroke and Lady Deathstrike becoming the antithesis of the Cap/WW marriage.
Nails vs sword. Don't worry....they WILL hammer it out!
As Red Tool might say: "I think you hit the nail right on the head."
