Hawkeye Vs. The Shadow Thief

I am always happy to use The Shadow Thief on a cover.  His villainous intangibility gimmick is beautiful in its simplicity, and always makes for an awesome visual.  It would be cool to see Clint Barton try to figure out a way to counter those abilities.

yes, it will be a sight for sore eyes or ears.

Then again, if Tony can work on Steve's shield, he should be able to help Clint make arrows for people out of phase with this reality. Vibrations on a severe range as a base to start from? With foes like ghosts and phantoms, it would help!

Cooler than you think, Ross. Didn't over-use of that "dimensiotron" run the risk of accelerating climate change to the point of a Sixth Ice Age?

@Det. Tobor: by George, I think you've got it! If Iron Man can counteract the intangibility of the Ghost*, a sentient shadow should be virtual child's play!

*The anti-industrial anarchist. Not the female anti-hero.

Nice match-up, Ross. And speaking of Hawkeye; has he ever met up with Hawkman?

Ross said...

Jared, yes, they were both members of Operation: Hawk.

Has the Shadow Thief ever clashed with the Shadow? Come to that, has the Shade ever done so?

@Davejonz: sadly, nope to both. A dark matter, indeed!

How has the Shadow Thief never met The Shadow? Or Shadow Lass?

The Shadow Thief vs. Cloak & Dagger.

The Shadow Thief & Lightmaster vs. The Shroud & Dr. Light 2.

Swarm & Shadow Thief (who would be immune to all the killer bees) vs. Darkstar & Bumblebee (please pretty please?).

@Bob Greenwade: I haven't a shadow of a clue.

How about The Shadow vs Dr Spectrum? The bigger the threat to the hero to overcome makes the hero bigger.

@Tobor: Hence my love for covers like this one.

Princess Python meets Kaa the Python (from Disney's original 1967 "Jungle Book").

@Bob, White Feather should have no problem with Galactus.

Maybe a teamup of Shadoe Thief and Lightmaster?

And Hawkeye did face (and defeat) a similar foe way back in Champions #11. That was the alien Warlord Kaa and Hawkeye and Ghost Rider did a double team on him.
