Darth Vader Vs. General Zod

We saw Anakin Skywalker's mother in The Phantom Menace, but they never identified who his father was.  Perhaps his mom didn't tell him because she didn't want him to know of his Kryptonian parentage.  It would help explain his mean streak and now we know why he has such an issue with Superman, as seen in STF #1171 and STF #3134...

Expanded canon claimed Palpatine used the Force to induce pregnancy in Shmee, so Palps IS the Father? But if that's the case, then Rey really IS related to the Skywalker clan.

Now THAT'S a full left turn! Zod , as well as Superman are susceptible to magic. Would this type of "mind power" be classified as "magic"? Would Zod tell Darth to do work for Zod or to train Zod to be able to do it himself? Darth is a bit too powerful to let stand as he is.

@Ross: So, in other words, in this universe, Anankin Skywalker being virgin-born is an immaculate misconception?

@Det. Tobor: if sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic, why wouldn't that go double for sufficiently advanced psychic power?*

*Like Lorne Green, as Commander Adama, postulated in the Count Iblis two-parter from the original BSG.

I wonder how Vader would do against Elektra if she came after him wielding sais made of cortosis ore?

Seriously, no one is going to mention issue 282 from 20-Jan-2013? Whether it's Superman or not, seems like the Empire always has some sort of connection to Krypton...

Carycomic, why?

At any rate, makes more sense than Vader being Force Jesus.Though there are questions as to why Anakin didn't have Kryptonian powers even when his body COULD get sunlight.

@Shadowwing: I say...why not? :-)

That's so cool, I just met Jack O'Halloran (Non) at Sci Fi Saturday in Bartow FL. He is very nice and it was an incredible convention experience, put on free by the city!

@Anon818: that's nice to know. I remember the first time I saw him on TV. It about five years before SUPERMAN II on an episode of "Switch" (a private eye show, starring Eddie Albert and Robert Wagner, inspired by THE STING). And, yes, his great height had gotten him cast as a menacing henchman. But, not only was it a speaking part. He also played the older (a.k.a big) brother of Richard Kiel's character!

On second thought, why open another kettle of holy mackerels?

"Better Son of God than son of Zod" was still a legitimate observation.

If this ever were made into a real-world movie, the dialogue would have to go a long way to surpass the beautifully corny stuff from SWEp9:TROS.

How about Leia versus Zara (from this P. Zone trio?).

I take it you mean "Ursa" (as played by Sarah Douglas)?
