I've read adventures featuring members of the Soviet Super Soldiers as guest stars in various comics, but I don't think I've read too many stories with them all together as a team. I lost track of Red Star after his New Titans appearances. So, I'm not sure what the status is of any of these characters today, but back in the 80's, this would have been a fun crossover for me to see.

Nice x-over here. Surprised I didn't think of it myself, but this has me thinking of more international heroes like the Global Guardians and those seen in the first Contest of Champions. But I know there are others from other publishers out there that could be considered.
That's actually an interesting idea: Soviet-backed superheroes after 1991...
If anyone knows of appearances they made, I'd love to hear aboutit.
Ursa Major was in a recent Avengers saga, something about Dracula returning IIRC.
Didn't they change their name to "Detente Titans" (or something equivalent) post-Cold War?
@Cary: I'm not 100% sure. But, I thought they changed it to the Proletarians.
I kind of wonder how these guys would function with Russia in its current (real world) state. Who'd stay loyal to Putin? Who'd become part of a resistance? Who would defect?
There's also the Winter Guard that had members of this team and the Supreme Soviets.
If you could work Red Son Superman into the mix somehow........
Or, even better, tie it in to STF #3781. :-)
Dear Ross: do you have enough photo-captures of Showa-era Godzilla and his 1961 King Brothers/MGM counterpart that you might be able to do an imitation movie theater lobby card proclaiming...
"Godzilla Vs. Gorgo!"
Last I remember seeing Red Star was the Superboy Prime fight in Infinite Crisis, where he did in fact use red sun radiation against him.
