Harley Quinn meets Bugs Bunny & Mickey Mouse

Harley Quinn has had a lot of portrayals since her debut on Batman: The Animated Series, in live action, animation and video games - with mostly positive results.  One element that I usually feel is not quite there, though, is her voice.  Arleen Sorkin gave her such a distinctive accent, pitch and cadence that it set her apart from any other character and I'm sure contributed to her immediate popularity.  Most new interpretations feel a bit watered down to me. One notable exception is from voice actress Tara Strong, she sticks closely to the Sorkin template.

Oh, I don't know about that, Ross. Margot Robbie did a pretty good job, both vocally and behaviorally, portraying Harley Quinn in the Suicide Squad trilogy (if one includes BOP). In fact, her portrayal is about the _only_ thing I loved about those flicks!

That being said, if her involvement with the live-action BARBIE film precludes her from a fourth cinematic appearance as Harley, I'd be willing to have some other actress temporarily take over the role. Provided, of course, she was dubbed by either Arlene Sorkin _or_ Tara Strong.

Re: this morning's cover? Brilliant! :-)

Was it based on a suggestion from one of your pay-trons? Or was it solely your inspiration?

I agree with Cary re: Margot Robbie's portrayal of Harley. The only one of the "trilogy" that I've seen (or expect to for the foreseeable future) is the first Suicide Squad, but she came close to Arleen Sorkin's original. (I don't think I've heard Tara Strong's version yet.)

As for today's cover, it's a fun twist putting her in this Toontown situation in place of Bob Hoskins's Eddie Valiant. Next up: Frank Castle gets an elevator ride with Droopy!

(Judge Dredd vs. Judge Doom still seems like a good idea, though.)

This one was from my fevered imagination, Cary.

So many plus points here Ross.
The central idea - inspired! Let's see more of STF Toontown, with or without Harley.
The combo images. Nigh on perfect. The three expressions on those faces!
The dialogue is great (wait a minute - couldn't you have squeezed a 'what's up Doc?' in?).
And the title. Double spot-on.

What everybody else said. :-)

P.S.---I can't wait to see what you've got planned for STF #3600, one week from Super Bowl Sunday.

Here's a hint: For the first time on the blog, two STF teams will clash! Plus: Batman's very first team-up featuring a character making their STF debut. I'll leave it to you to speculate about which teams and character I'm speaking of.

OK! Let the speculation begin.

Main story: FemForce vs. Justice Machine.

Backup story: Batman vs. Foxbat!

I'm talking about two STF teams, as is teams that I have previously created for this blog.

@Ross: Ah! Now, we're getting somewhere. :-)

So, for my second guess I'll say...Fowl Force vs. the Cat Precinct!

If I were to hazard a guess (and I'm almost always wrong about these things), I'd say the Bondsmen vs. The Joker's Wild.
