Every once in a while I will put on one of the Tintin episodes from the animated series released in the early 90's. I missed them when they first came out, but they can be found on some streaming services now. The animation is simple, but works perfectly with Herge's designs, which are adhered to closely. The series adapted the original stories, so the show always brings back pleasant memories of reading them as I was a kid. I highly recommend the show to any Tintin fan.

Is Aquaman's ride named Seabiscuit? Guess we never have known how much magic has been in the undersea kingdom or that Arthur is familiar with.
My favorite story arc (from the syndicated cartoon series back in the Sixties) was the one about the Greenland meteorite that caused all the fauna exposed to it to become giant-sized!*
@Triple H: I'd say that hammerhead is more likely named "Joseph." A suggestion probably made by Spidey. ;-)
*It was like a Toho version of Indiana Jones animated the same way Rankin/Bass animated "Frosty The Snowman." Delightfully so!
My only real exposure to Tintin is through this blog, and the 2011 mocap film (which I thought was plenty of fun). I'll look around to see if he's on any of the services I subscribe to (or am about to).
@Cary: Good call re: the shark.
Spielberg´s TinTin was a blast. It captured the magic of the comics perfectly. Here in Germany TinTin (or better Tim, as he is known here) was (and still is) next to Asterix the most popular comic.
Very enjoyable.
Has Tintin ever met Tin of the Metal Men?
I just double-checked the search parameters at the bottom of Ross' article. And the answer is...not as yet!
@Anon@10:58 & Cary: I've been trying to get Tintin and Rin Tin Tin together since issue #1010 was on its way, and added Tin to that mix just a few months ago. I think Ross probably has just been having trouble finding suitable images.
Leaving Ross in an un-tin-able position?
nah. He could always use Tintype.
That might require a lot of electronic tin-kering.
There's also Tin-Tin! Tin-Tin Kyrano, Malaysian scientist and engineer, daughter of manservant Kyrano on Tracy Island, in Thunderbirds (from original '60s version).
