Gladiator Vs. Green Lantern

Well, John Diggle has been making the rounds on the remaining CW superhero shows, but he doesn't appear to be any closer to donning a power ring.  It feels like kind of a tease, the way they were building up the Arrow supporting character to become Green Lantern John Stewart.  I guess it's because DC has other plans for Stewart, whether in the movies or on HBO Max.  If that's the case, hopefully we will hear about some casting soon.

Whoa!
I wonder if he'll make an appearance on Stargirl, what with Jade making her debut in Season Two...?

Knowing CW, they'll probably try to make him work for the Controllers as their first Earthling Darkstar.

P.S.---I'd love to see what armaments would get power-rung up if Gladiator was taking on Simon Baz!

Dig's appearances were frankly confusing to me. He was in Gotham to deal with headaches on Batwoman, and then on The Flash he indicated that they were because he'd been putting off the ring and he was about to go put in on. Then, on Superman & Lois, he said rather emphatically that he was done with that life. Maybe that last bit was meant to air first, which would help the sequence make sense, but as it aired it was confusing. Maybe when Supergirl returns to finish off its final season we'll get to see a resolution.

@Dave: No, I doubt Dig will show up on Stargirl. That takes place on a different Earth. And the producers have already indicated that the first crossover from Stargirl will be The Flash.

It's kind of silly given that multiple folks having the ring has long been part of the GL mythos anyway

Now, there's a great idea for Ross' next cover-sim. Methos the Immortal...as a Green Lantern!

Emsley? You're a genius. :-)

Ancient G L fans may know what Hal didn't. Hal was moved at times to the future to act as a director for Earth safety I believe. Someone on C W staff may be planning a surprise for John the same way.

Yeah! The Silver Age 57th century. What do you want to bet that it's a non-redheaded Iola Vane who ultimately plays GL's "wife" (on either TV or the silver screen)?

Trivia question: Why was 5700 A.D. chosen as the year Hal Jordan traveled to in his "Solar Director" adventures?

Answer: Those were the last four digits of the DC offices' phone number at the time.

More puzzling question: why did the people of 5700 only go for Hal Jordan, instead of someone from the LSH? The 30th century was a lot closer by comparison!

@Anonymous224: tampering by the Time Trapper would be my guess.
