Black Lightning is midway through its final season, and I believe we are at the "darkest before the dawn" part of the Pierce family story. The recent episodes have been filled with marital discord, addiction to drugs and powers, involuntary body swapping (due to one cast member leaving early), and all around mistrust between the main core of characters. Hopefully the writers have ways to solve most of these issues and the series will end on an uplifting note.

said Darth Vader to Cap. Trust your writers.
BL's writers permanently lost my trust after Season 2.
I think the giant hands, in this cover-sim, belong to one of the TMNT's original writers.
"Dimension X?! How dare you culturally misappropriate our brainchild!"
Supposedly there was going to be a mini-crossover with The Flash before the show signed off. I hope that didn't get downgraded to the "Central City? I know a guy" line earlier in the season. But I do think that, by the end, the Pierces will pull things together and Tobias Whale will be dead.
And I'm a bit unhappy about China Anne McClain's decision to leave the show in the middle of the final season. It really created a confusing element to an already complex story, though to their credit the writers rose to the occasion and came up with not only a reasonable explanation but some really good personal drama.
@Bob: it'll probably prove a _good_ career move, for her, in the long run. Desert the sionking ship while desertion is good (and all that jazz).
Unless you're referring to a maritime vessel from a previously unknown seaport of China called "Sionking," I think you meant to say "sinking ship."
