Continued from yesterday's cover, we see that our two heroines are ready to take the lead in this case.
It sounds like we will will be seeing Shuri (and possibly also M'Baku) donning a panther costume of her own in the sequel to continue the work that T'Challa began as Black Panther. That made for an enjoyable story arc in the comics, and it will be interesting to see how the Marvel movies handle it, since this is a more permanent situation.

Gun-running time travelers, eh? I wonder who it could be?
Per Degaton and Klaw, perhaps? Or maybe Byth and Kang?
I'll split the difference and guess...Hath-Set and Rama Tut!
@Cary: As in, "Hath-Set raw on the little rock, and a Rama Rama Tut-tut?"
It was a pretty easy call that these two would be the featured heroes as Part 2 of this story.
And yes, I agree that Shuri becoming the Black Panther by the end of BP2 is pretty much a given, unless Disney decided to suspend her for some "unfortunate" tweets last fall (which I kind of hope they don't; they weren't that bad).
Bob - the sooner Hollywood realizers all those nudniks complaining and canceling all the time on Twitter are like 100 people with 15 accounts each, the better. That place is a cesspool of negativity.
I still have trouble with M'Baku, the Man Ape, being a good guy.
@Ross: hence, the British slang term "Twit." Short for "Twitter idiot!"
OK, I was out a little earlier and something scary occurred to me.
The show Ahsoka is coming up, featuring Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano. So what she'll really need is a Padawan.
And what if that Padawan was... Tigger?
@Bob: That would only be scary if he was voiced by the late, great Paul Winchell.
@Anon757: *GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAN!*
@Cary: As much as I loved Paul Winchell in just about anything, I think the current voice of Tigger, Jim Cummings, would do quite well.
And hey, I do think that Tigger as a Jedi works better than my original thought: Tigger as a Green Lantern.
Ooh! Ooh! Brainstorm, here. Padawan Tigger meets...The Green Loontern!
@my namesake: Nah! Forget about Tigger.
Make it Padawan Hobbs and Jedi Master Calvin!
In the movies, it's more likely Nakia will assume the role of the Black Panther.
Shuri, as shown in the flicks, is too young and has little martial arts experience/training.
Nakia's a trained spy and, by stating she and T'Challa were wed before he disappeared/died, she's part of the royal family!
(although the concept of Angela Bassett in the skintight costume has undeniable appeal, her character is a non-combatant)
M'Baku's too much of a loose cannon, driven by emotion and ambition.
The logical choice is to make Nakia the new Black Panther and keep Shuri as her tech/backup.
I thought Nakia was a Navajo character once played by the late, great Robert Forster.
