Howard the Duck and Guardians of the Universe
Howard the Duck is fleetingly seen among the cavalry of heroes in the big final fight of Avengers: Endgame. There's nothing that says he went back into outer space with The Ravagers once the battle was over, so there's no reason he can't still be on Earth and available to pop up in another movie or show down the line. He's had some fun interaction with She-Hulk in the comics, it might be a kick to see him appear on her Disney+ show once it gets up and running.

The MCU films apart, I really don't know much about Howard. (Have you ever done a Duck Division team? Sounds like something you might already have come up with? Donald and... I dunno.) But I have a real soft spot for the Guardians...and this is good one. The story that follows is already up and running in my mind.
He did a "Fowl Force" cover once, #336...and yes, both Howard and Donald (as Super Donald) were on it!
In brightest day, in darkest night, no evil shall escape my quack!
another fowl comparison would be to the Duck Dogers (Daffy Duck) cartoon "The Green Loontern" where Daffy gets Hal's power ring because of a dry cleaners mix-up and has an adventure with several Green Lanterns.....
picture in your mind's eye both Howard and Daffy reciting the Lantern Oath in their GL uniforms....
good times....
So, that's how the Collector made off with Caulder and Xavier @ STF #3065.
I'm sorry, but nothing was said about the guy from OA carding Howard. Howard never did get his Green Card.
As to the rings; many boxes of Cracker Jacks were taken from their factory recently. What better way to put a future stocking stuffer to use than fill the boxes. Without a power battery how are those rings going to get charged to work? They're gonna be lite on the light and that may lead to dark times.
Howard the Duck was suppose to be on Hulu along with 3 other animated shows on 2 other live action Marvel shows. All were cancelled before production began and only Hellstrom (apparently can't say Hellstorm on tv) remains. The rumor is like Swamp Thing it is already cancelled before the first airing.
If that last part were true, I don't think CW would still be showing previews of the "Swamp Thing" series premiere in October.
P.S. @Jack-El: their first assignment? Going after a renegade mutant green lanternshark from the Gulf of Mexico!
Yeah, Etmopterus virens is pretty sneaky for such a little guy! ;-)
@Anon@5:25: The Swamp Thing that's premiering in October is basically a rerun of the series that ran on DC Universe. It really was cancelled before the first episode aired, because of a financial dispute with the State of South Carolina. They did air the whole season, since it had already been shot, but no second season would be coming.
@Scott: His real name is Damien Hellstrom, at least in the comics.
@Bob Greenwade: that's the way the rotten log crumbles.*
*Insert shrug-icon, here.
Seriously, though: I finally saw "New Mutants," last night. Not bad!
The alterations to the characters' backgrounds were tolerable. But, the lighting and sound quality (of the drive-in theater) could have been a lot better.
Howard the Duck's eyes remind me of those of Cerberus the Aardvark.
@my namesake: Too bad he can't smile like Cereberus!
"Aardvark a million miles for one of those smiles."
*GROOOOOOAN!*
