Masters of the Universe seems to be having a bit if renewed interest these days. She-Ra has been a hit on Netflix and I've read of plans to bring two more animated series from the world of MOTU to that streaming platform. There's also a new live action movie in development - although they need to act fast, since prospective He-Man Noah Centineo has been scooped up by Warner Bros to plat Atom Smasher in the Black Adam flick. I guess the kids that grew up watching the exploits on Eternia are at the age now where they are in charge of creating new entertainment.

Thor Vs. He-Man in: "From Eternia With Death!"

These two first met in STF #1777...

Battle of the Blonds or From Loki with Love.
Care to think about Phoenix vs Parasite? or Parasite vs Galactus? Monday morning quarterback indeed !
You'd never know this wasn't just a...cover...if you saw it somewhere. The styles blend perfectly. Very clever matching.
I still remember sitting down to watch the He-Man film, nothing better to do, expecting an utter turkey, and finding it thoroughly enjoyable. I still don't understand all the negative reviews.
Ross, 1974 is calling. Issue # 1974 that is. Rogue vs The Parasite. I'll even bring the popcorn.
Never been able to get into sword & sorcery, so He-man ranked around Tarzan for me.
But, with some other posts,Ross, do you have a group like The Poachers? Rogue, Absorbing Man (?), and Parasite don't just mimic, but take energy from the originals leaving them weaker and making them different than THE TOTALITARIANS.
I remember watching the original cartoon periodically, enjoying it when it was one but never really getting "into" it the way my wife did. I may revisit the series, though, especially with the resurgence of general interest.
In return, if you get Hulu, Ross, I do think you should give Animaniacs a try. It'd be loads of fun to see such things as Pinky and the Brain stealing the Infinity Gauntlet, Ghost Rider fighting Skeletor (revisiting the battle in #2959) with Mr. Skullhead looking on, Elmyra Duff becoming a Herald of Galactus, or Dot Warner meeting Thor and exclaiming, "Hellooooo, Norse!"
@Bob Greenwade: How about Dr. Otto Scratchansniff and Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth (Futurama)?
Bob Greenwade -- I'd be down for Yakko, Wakko and Dot harassing Ed, Edd, and Eddy, or the Powerpuff Girls. Pinky and the Brain joining forces with or against Monsieur Mallah and the Brain. Freakazoid and either the Mask or Ambush Bug
Very nice picture. Sort of has a Deathbattle feel to it.
How about He-Man vs Thundarr.
Stands to reason, Ross. Look how many Baby-boomers, who saw Ray Harryhausen's JASON & THE ARGONAUTS, as adolescents, grew up to animate CGI skeletons for HERCULES: TLJ!
@Big Mike: Freakazoid isn't an Animaniacs character, though I could get behind seeing him with both of those characters. Your other suggestions (and the Anon one ahead of you) also have some merit. But we can just wait and see what Ross thinks, if he's willing to give the show a shot.
(Chicken Boo trying out for the LSH might be fun too!)
Freakazoid vs Madman
Or, failing that? Frekazoid vs. Earthworm Jim!
I know Freakazoid wasnt on Animaniacs Bob. I was just on a roll with 1990s Kids WB show ideas. .
Or an all action figure team... He-Man, Rom, Captain Action, GI Joe... on a mission to rescue Barbie lol
What is that thing that He-Man wears across his chest called? There are several other characters like Martian Manhunter and Hawkman that also wear those.
If they were criss-crossed gun belts on a Mexican bandit, from politically incorrect Old Westerns, they'd be called "bandoleers."
I've seen them called harnesses. From what a horse wore when pulling a wagon, or when the strongman competitions are pulling cars. Something to attach a scabbard or quiver or wings to.
