I am wondering when we will finally see some footage from Wonder Woman 1984. It seems like filming started a long time ago. Perhaps they don't want to outshine the Birds of Prey movie and Warner Brothers will wait until that is released to do their big WW push. I am very curious about how this film will look, the exact plot and Kristin Wiig's interpretation of The Cheetah. Hopefully Patty Jenkins can maintain the quality of the first installment.

Diana has had a lot of clip exposure and behind the scenes footage released. With Steve supposed to be back to life, and Diana's revised origin, I wonder if she might have traveled somewhere to get his soul back first.
Since she is part of the Justice League in the movie, I wonder if anything she does here might be able to affect any of her League coworkers as well.
Ross, could you have really teamed Diana with Dynomutt in a serious manner?
Totally different: i've often wondered what might have happened if Batman crashed off Paradise Island instead of Steve or Superman? Batman, in costume, would not be seen the same as Steve was and he wouldn't have been as big a catch as Clark was. In fact, the Amazons probably wouldn't have been impressed by him at all.
My favorite aardvark and my favorite Amazon! Awesome!!!
@det_Tobor: I've often wondered what would have happened if Kal-El's rocket had crashed on Paradise Island! As for the Amazons not being impressed by Bruce Wayne? They would soon have regretted under-estimating him. And Marvel fanboys would've had vicarious revenge for that horrible Phantom Eagle story arc back in the early 2010's!
With regard to today's cover? Intriguing! Although, I likewise wonder what might've happened had she made the same offer to Groo?
It looks like I should've saved my Wonder Man and Wonder Man (and Wonder Man) team-up suggestion until today!
Anyway, most of Wonder Woman 1984 was indeed filmed summer of last year, which does make it an incredibly long time (for the movie world) between that and its release this coming June -- just under two years. Still, I understand that official trailers should start coming out late next month, and of course more will come later. I too am itching to know how Steve is returned from death (or near-death, or mostly-death) and what Cheetah will look like post-transformation.
Now, somebody please tell me the story behind that axe in Diana's hand. It looks extremely cheesy, being shaped like her superhero logo, though it also looks like something that I wouldn't want to experience the business end of.
Wonder Man and Wonder Woman met way back in STF #36
I have seen the pictures of Kristin Wiig's as The Cheetah on movieweb I am NOT impressed. And I am a "banshee" according to article.
Man, that's pretty. That's all. Just a pretty composition that is really pleasing.
This is GREAT!
It's a wonderful idea (I typed that before recognising the pun, honest!), and the artwork really meshes well.
Reminds me a bit of DC's own published team-up between Diana and the Tasmanian Devil, which I really enjoyed.
^_^

That would probably have to be a version of Kal-El who already had this powers from babyhood, rather than a version whose powers (as in mainstream post-Crisis continuity) developed gradually during his teens, though... Otherwise the Amazons would presumably have sent him away for adoption elsewhere --which, given the way some of DC's own 'Elseworlds' stories worked, would probably have placed him with the Kents anyway-- instead...
One possibility that I think could be particularly interesting is a timeline in which Kal-L arrived in Poland as a baby just after WW1 (for real effect, make it the same day as their new government as an independent nation took office...), with his powers as in the Golden Age version, and his first public appearance in costume was in the autumn of 1939 as an unexpected obstacle in the path of the Germans' attack.

(or, in their p[adiating him. And Marvel fanboys would've had vicarious revenge for that horrible Phantom Eagle story arc back in the early 2010's!
@Simreeve: What would you think of a Pokemon/Flintstones crossover?; or a Pokemon/Captain Caveman one?
Cerebus and the X-men almost teamed up in the 80's but it didn't happen for reasons. https://www.cbr.com/comic-book-legends-revealed-358/

Carycomic, you're in luck. About Wonder Woman #300, had Diana dream about meeting Clark in place of Steve when she was on Paradise Island. Story showed them falling in love and getting married. And then, because they were so alike, they were both too busy saving people world wide. They recognized there was no marriage, just a 24 hr day of work. Diana was saddened when she realized what she dreamed and how true it would be.
@ Bob Greenwade
Diana's armor and weapons were revealed to be inspired by Steve Trevor's Mom when it was discovered she had crash on Paradise Island around WW II. It was a reveal early on during George Perez's run. It was the explanation for why Wonder Woman's costume was inspired by the America flag and where the Amazons had a .45 when they had never left Paradise Island and came to America before Diana left as Wonder Woman.

Sorry, but I don't really know enough about Pokemon to give an opinion here.
@Simreeve: The Flintstones and Captain Caveman could easily make use of the powers of SOME pokemon, esp. some fire and ice-type moves.
I remember that Wonder Man/Wonder Woman crossover. I was referring to Wonder Man (Simon Williams Marvel) and Wonder Man (Fred Carson, Fox), with the possible addition of Wonder Man (Dane of Elysium, DC). See my comment on #2737 (about 3/4 of the way down).
@Bob Greenwade: And Wonder Man (Danny Kaye, 1945)?
Way 2 go, BB!
