Nova is heavily rumored to be joining the MCU as part of the studio's Phase Four plans. This should be fairly easy to do as all the groundwork for the Nova Corps has already been laid. I do hope they tweak the Nova costume a bit from what we have seen in Guardians of the Galaxy, the helmets looked slightly clunky there. Knowing Marvel, I'm sure he'll get one of those magical helmets everyone seems to have that can appear and disappear with a light touch to the neck. Wouldn't want to obscure the face of their leading man too long!

That's probably one of the more hilarious live action rules: Mask? We've got this big name star - we want to make sure the audience can see his/her face!
That cover shows the real problem of doing a nighttime speech in an open area. After Vegas, the fiction of the act stopped being "fiction".
I remember this issue! The ill-fated speech maker was ADA Charles Conwell (father of baton-twirling Stacy Conwell, who later boarded with the Allens as a college freshman). And the twist ending made me think he was going to become the crime-fighting Spirit of Central City. :-)
That is, till I learned Barry Allen's hometown had nothing to do with the stomping grounds of Will Eisner's most famous brainchild. :-(
"Brenda Starr, Reporter" was also a native of Central City... and worked for a newspaper called the Flash. If that doesn't suggest a three-way team-up...
Huh. Nova and the Flash, and you didn't use Carmine Infantino art? Interesting choice. (But then, sometimes ya gotta avoid the obvious to really get the creativity going, I guess.)
Has Nova (Richard) met Green Lantern (Hal or Kyle)?
They can call Corp values.
LOL. That is my biggest problem with movie adaptations where heroes and villains need to keep taking masks and helmets off. Watchman was one of the few films without that problem and one of the "heroes" had a complete face mask.
Okay, I know it's a bit late, but I have to ask--why are there two issues #2612!?
Thanks, Daviticus for drawing our attention to the issue number. This means it's around a fortnight until issue 2626 = twice 1313.
Which would be an inspired time for a cover with the Munsters (of 1313 Mockingbird Lane) and Donald Duck (of 1313 Webfoot Walk).
You're welcome, "Anonymous"! :)
