This is so true... parallel Earths have been around on tv since at least the original Twilight Zone. Star Trek and Dark Shadows had use of the concepts.....and then there was SLIDERS. And that's not counting Flash, Arrow and Supergirl's turn thru thu multiverse maze. Even the general public seem familiar enough with the concept, it was even used on Lucifer.
Your insights have added more flavor to the covers you have done many times.
Would J.J. need a locksmith, electronics expert or Lockjaw and a group of other teleporters to screw up the bomb's control device? Maybe an E.M.P. might help?
By the way, April 19, 2013 can be checked off now that Dr Manhattan & Superman are going to be interacting.

Could you see The Spectre being the shadow for The Shadow? If The Shadow possessed The Spectre would you be able to tell? Would you want to miss The Spectre's Shadow.
Considering that the Villain for Spiderman Homecoming is Myserio, I'm taking all plot spoilers that I hear with a grain of salt. (Or am I giving the writers more credit than I should?)
Ywa depending on "Myserio" for plot spoilers is futile IMO.
Regarding the multiverse maybe it could explain away the 5 year snap period which IMO was one of the worst decisions going forward for Marvel Studios.
That's good news, Ross. It means we could yet see a silver-screen version of Nick Fury played by a Caucasian ex-lifeguard with a talking Trans-Am!

The last time I saw a booby trap like this, it was a cube-shaped force field mystically tied to the collective life-forces of the Silver Age Defenders. If that was your particular inspiration for today's cover-sim, Ross, I compliment you on your recall. :-)
They never needed a special reason to explain the recasting of Hulk, War Machine, or other characters so no one will care if they ignore the lame Inhumans show.
I just hope they adapt the orginal Secret Wars. They need Iron Man for that, but Rhodey was in the armor then so it could still happen. The could say The Beyonder took some from different points in time in order to use Captain America or Tony Stark.
I'm wondering if they will address the fact that the inevitable consequence of reversing the finger snap of doom after five years and instantly doubling the Earth's population would be disastrous food shortages and mass starvation. And then there are all the spouses that would now be married to other people, a housing shortage etc. etc.
@TJW: Maybe that will be part of the collective backstory of Phase 4 (or is it 5?). The sudden re-doubling of the Earth's population inspiring the long-overdue establishment of a lunar colony. Which, in turn, results in the the MCU finally introducing Uatu the Watcher!
Perhaps, Anonymous, but I don't see how establishing a moon colony would help with the immediate problem of not having enough food to feed everyone. As I said above, mass starvation would be inevitable. There would be a shortage of all essential resources at least in the short term. Five years is too long a gap to suppose that they would maintain enough of a surplus to provide for everyone. As much as people would be happy to see their loved ones alive, those who never disappeared to come to resent most of those who suddenly reappeared. I'm guessing that the world-wide riots that would break out for the rapidly dwindling resources would put off any major undertakings like a moon colony for some time. Most likely they will largely ignore all this which is probably for the best.

Dr Strange would just take a fish and a loaf of bread and multiply them to feed the masses.
Groot could help crops grow faster. The other heroes could help distribute food.
The USA wastes much food every year. We generate much more than is ever consumed.

And if the heroes could & did fix that then obviously they could have solved 'world hunger' earlier, too, if only they'd been bothered enough by it back then...
