The Thing Vs. Amazo
Amazo has always been one of my favorite Justice League villains. Being a one-man JLA himself, he was one of the few bad guys that could go solo up against the whole team. The animated Justice League Unlimited gave hum somewhat of a bland re-design, but I like what they did with then character, and how he evolved from appearance to appearance. He would be a cool character to appear in a Justice League film... provided Marvel doesn't get the Super-Adaptoid on screen first!

Ha I like Ben Grimm's reference to Namor.
Amazo -- the Super-Adaptoid -- the Super-Skrull -- the Composite Superman -- and the Mimic. How's that for a team?
Powerful!
Should Throw Negate on the Team too
You know what makes this cover REALLY awesome ? You *TOTALLY* nailed what Ben Grimm would say... Not even a professional comics writer would have come up with a better phrase for that cover.
Thanks, Ben is one of my favorites to write lines for.
Given the "shirtless, pointy-eared guy" remark, then yes, Amazo makes for a nice sparring partner with the Thing.
That being said, when I first read "The Thing" while scrolling down the page next to "Amazo", my first thought the Thing from Another World, a la the James Cameron reboot and the original story by John Campbell. A metamorphic alien monster makes for a nice counterpart to power duplicators like Amazo and company.
The art here on Ben really gives me a Jim Starlin vibe for some reason, instead of George and Phil's version. Great cover as always, Ross.
