Generally I don't like too many versions of a character running around, as I think it tends to dilute the original. Green Lantern and Nova are exceptions since they each come from a Corps of characters, and it makes sense to have more than one hero assuming the titles. Even though I am a big fan of Hal Jordan and Richard Rider, Kyle Rayner and Sam Alexander have proven themselves to be interesting character in their own right.

Green Lantern and Nova in "Pirates of Ganymede!"

I'd like to see Kyle as a Blue Lantern. I like the Blue Lantern Corps. I think the DCU needs more Blue Lanterns than Atrocitus or Larfleeze. Sinestro is a pretty cool character; his Sinestro Corps is pretty cool based on fear, I'd like to see more hope than anger and avarice fighting evil.
Kyle has always been a favorite Green Lantern of mine mostly thanks to Morrison's run on JLA and that he's an artist with a power ring. That last bit should be license for any artist on the book to just have fun and go nuts.
You are right though, more blue lanterns would be nice.

Sorry, never liked Kyle Rayner or hıs partıcular run ın the tıtle ın the late 1990s. And I dıdn't lıke the Dark Stars eıther wıth Wonder Gırl. What the heck was THAT about? Thıs was a partıcularly bad tıme for DC comıcs (1994-2004) ın terms of storıes and creatıvıty and the bad taste ıs stıll ın my mouth. I can't help but assocıate Rayner wıth thıs dısmal tıme perıod.
Couldn't disagree more about Kyle. He was a refreshing change of pace from Hal. Also, as an artist, it made sense that his creations would be based on his vivid imagination. Frankly, I find the new, complex constructs from both Hal and John to be ridiculous based on their previous histories and personalities.
Now this would be one of the best ever crossover team ups ever made, excellent! ;)
