Superman and Doctor Strange
It appears that Superman will be getting yet another costume change with the upcoming Scott Snyder/Jim Lee ongoing series. I'm not sure if this will be a permanent thing, but I hope so as the high collar just wasn't working for me. I also wouldn't be at all surprised to find that DC is attempting to get Superman looking closer to his big screen counterpart, due to hit theaters next summer, much in the same way that Marvel's characters are all starting to look like their corresponding movie versions.

I was never a big fan of Superman growing up (I was drawn to less powerful characters like Batman or Green Arrow), but I rarely missed an issue when Supes dealt with magic or mystery. So DC Comics Presents team-ups with The Spectre or Phantom Stranger were my favorites. I would love to see him in an adventure with Dr. Strange!
I dig magic, and this cover is a technical wonder!! I can't wait to see your cover with Amethyst. How about a battle between Skeletor and Dr. Doom??
This is a story I would love to read! The Sorcerer Supreme versus the Man of Steel! The Sanctum Sanctorum versus the Fortress of Solitude! Science versus sorcery!
Or perhaps they team up against the might of General Zod and Dormammu, who are leading an invasion of our universe by the combined forces of the Phantom Zone and the Dark Dimension!
As it happens, I just made a cover with Skeletor the other day!
....ha. and of course, once you read the story, you find out that Strange doesn't exactly say those word. He probably says..."for the time being, in order for the earth to be safe Superman, you must remain in the Sanctum!" But for how long?? "If our plan fails, perhaps....forever!!!"
654321 - there is a Dr. Strange/Spectre Cover in the archives.
I wish DC would just monkeying around with their characters and give us back the Superman (and other characters) that so many generations of kids grew up with. I've said it before and I'll say it again: The "New 52" sucks! (I'm sorry, that was rude of me; I should have said that it inhales with great enthusiasm.)
No John, you got it right.
