The Phantom Stranger and Doctor Strange
I was glad to see that The Phantom Stranger is set to receive his own ongoing series in the next phase of DC's New 52. He has spent the last couple of decades as a guest star or cameo in other characters' titles, and I think that he has a lot more to offer. I still fondly remember his original series, mainly due to the excellent artwork by Jim Aparo. That series has some of my favorite covers ever.

Hey--clever use of the ELO song title! Nice team up, and not too expected (i.e. using Dr. Fate or Zatanna). The only problem with this cover is the utter lack of reasonable anatomy for Dr. Strange, as evidenced by his right arm. Who holds their arm like that?
Alternate title: "Strange and Stranger"!
how bout human torch iceman vs capt cold and heatwave title could be hot time in the cold city also do mary jane meets lois lane or cable/deathstroke or punisher/deathstroke
also deathstroke vs taskmaster would be cool or metal men vs u-foes or rocket racoon and chip
Since Rocket Raccoon will definitely be appearing on film next year, lets have an entire funny animals tribute, Ross. I'm still waiting to see the entire Zoo Crew here, not just Captain Carrot. Remember the Justa Lotta Animals cross-over issue by Roy Thomas? Man, comics in the '80s were the best!!!
I've got a couple of covers featuring other Zoo Crew members coming up... as well as covers with other animal/cartoon types.
Awesome stuff. Love Bob's alternate title as well.
The Stranger is definitely from the post-Crisis mini-series and jibes with the Mignola-Russell signature, but isn't the Dr. Strange a Charles Vess bit? It could be Mignola, I guess, or Kaluta. Dr. Strange is one of those characters who just seems to be catnip for all those baroque-type craftsman artists who (except for Mignola) became famous in the 1970's.
It's Marcos Martin... just check the labels, I usually list the artists there.
I'll second the props for the ELO inspired title. I tend to do that a lot myself for my own blog, so it's cool to see someone else do it as well.
I like the combination of those those characters besides the common names. And what an interesting premise; PS revealed as the Ancient One. Almost sounds better than him being Judas in the new 52.
Doc Strange and the Phantom Stranger could meet being supernatural beings, who cross universes.
