The Thing and The Martian Manhunter
Well, checking out the promos for the newly revamped DCU, I am sorry that thus far I do not see J'onn J'onzz anywhere, even on the Justice League. I hope he wasn't resurrected just to be shuffled off into comic book limbo for another decade. Apparently the promo image for the JLA only shows about half of the final team roster, so hopefully J'onn will still play an active role there. It really would be a shame not to include him as he is one of the few characters on the team not tied to a solo title and writers are free to do a lot more with him than the others within the book.

Dave sez,
Awww, yeah! Great cover!
I never agreed with Brad Meltzer that Red Tornado was the heart and soul of the Justice League. I see his point; but, J'onn J'onzz was always the heart of the League. Here was an alien learning about humans. Yeah, you can update that with both John Smith and Vic Stone. J'onn did it first.
I guess fearing aliens is less of a thing now; fearing technology might be the new thing.
A Thing Martian Manhunter two-in-one would be soooooo cool!
Great cover. That is an Art Adams Thing isnt it? We need a Thanos and Mongul on a cover together now.
He's in STORMWATCH of all places.
I liked what Brad Meltze did with the Tornado. The problem with the character is some did not know what to do with him other than blow him up but he did. The piece with the Construct in 140s was excellent and the Dick Giordano designed costume was great. The problem with Manhunter being their soul is he does not want to be human.
I think the Thing and Manhunter are a natural matching and you should have a cover of a poker party with him there.
Never play poker with a mind reader.
