Bugs Bunny Vs. Doctor Doom
I'm not sure why I've been receiving requests for a Doom/Bugs match up, but here you go! I'd love to see this tale animated. Doom does play a great straight man, so it might be amusing watching him navigate the hijinks that would come his way.
I wanted Bugs in a suit of armor for this cover, so I used a still from the 1949 short Knights Must Fall, directed by Friz Freleng. I was lucky enough to pick up a sketch by the legendary animator several years back:

This would be amazing.
Next panel _ Doom thinking "As if Squirrel Girl wasn't bad enough..."
looks at a screen - oh no NOT the Duck…. ( but which of them would say that is up to the reader )
After Roger Rabbit, Bugs could stay in 2-D, and be even more annoying.
Bugs wouldn't be taking Vic(tim) seriously enough until Vic brought out the
Fudd-ergator. (Vic always plans ahead.) Buggs might bring out a Daffy-droid to help.
Vic has gone against Batman by himself...but with his mystic work, how would he do against the Spectre??
I just threw this idea out there randomly in the comments a few days ago, and here it is!
I'd easily buy this comic without even looking inside.
How about magnus vs the jet sons?
@Mr. Greenwade: I said it, last Sunday, re: your Ben Grimm/LSH suggestion. And I'm repeating/reaffirming it here, re: this suggestion.
"Bob, my boy? You are a genius!"
"Who DARES defy the sanctum of DOOM?" "Eh... I darest. What? You was expectin' IronMan maybe?"
You're privileged, indeed, to have that art sample, Ross. Makes me wonder if we'll ever this beloved cartoon animal team up with Princess Shuri of Wakanda?
Although, not necessarily as a sequel to STF #2141!
When I was a kid there was an old cartoon about a cat that had a magic suitcase. I always thought he would be a good match for Bugs Bunny.
That was probably Felix The Cat. A long-time comic strip character who, in the 1960's, starred in a series of syndicated made-for-TV cartoons featuring a mad scientist (simply called "The Professor"); his on-again/off-again accomplice (an anthropomorphic bulldog gangster) named Rock Bottom; and the Professor's "white-sheep" nephew (a child prodigy named Poindexter).

Felix actually amde his debut in made-for-cinema cartoons, back in the 'silent era', a few years before he was given a comic strip. Later on a song about him, 'Felix Keeps On Walking', was created for Paul Whiteman & His Orchestra... and he appeared in a mixed-cartoon-&-live-action sequence in Paul Whiteman's 1930 movie 'The King of Jazz'.
But Felix did indeed have a magic suitcase, his "bag of tricks."
If anyone can make Doom lose his cool completely, it's an anthropomorphic animal trickster. Bugs is king, but Woody Woodpecker (in his crazier incarnations) might actually be the most dangerous.
That's a fine looking gallery you have Mr.Ross.
The doc doesn't know that Mr Bunny has a stash of special carrots near by that will make him Super Rabbit. It was that left turn at Albuquerque that done it. Can't wait to see the Dr trying to fix things as he tries to get Buggs out.
I think I actually feel sorry for Doom....
This makes me hope that, someday, we'll see Capt. Kirk and First Mate Piggy from "PIGS IN SPACE." Not necessarily in a compromising position, of course!
You can team Marvel Dr Doom with Archie's Mad Dr Doom. You can pit them against Franklin Richards and Little Archie.
@Anon1030: Shatner would probably refuse to work with Ms. Piggy. He considers her too big a ham.
I decided to go hunt down where I made mention of the Bugs vs. Doom idea. It was 13 July, #4108, where I said (in part):
"Now I'm wishing to see the Genie [from Disney's animated Aladdin] take on Darkseid. Probably about as likely as Bugs Bunny vs. Doctor Doom."
So... when do we get to see the Genie vs. Darkseid?
I'm still hoping for Ben Grimm meets the Legion of Super Heroes. Like, say, vs. Doc Doom 2999?
Bugs would have to dodge a lot of Doombots, and then quite a few Rube Goldberg-type booby traps before he gets the best of Doom. I also liked your clashes with Doom and Batman. I hope they can meet again sometime. Maybe it was Wayne Industries that supplied the basic equipment that the young Doom used in the experiment that marred his face.
I wonder how Dr. Doom would do against the Tasmanian Devil?
