Cat Precinct
Ever since I featured Ace and the Dogs of War, an all-canine team, I have gotten requests for a feline equivalent. It took me a while to come up with something suitable, because let's face it - dogs are a lot more agreeable than cats. I love the little guys but they certainly have their own agendas.

Omaha the Cat Dancer and Bill the Cat
'
Berke Breathed's Bloom County was a must read comic strip for me back in the day. I loved his character designs and his truly warped sense of humor spoke to me. Bill the Cat reminded me of more than one unrefined feline that I had known, so he was a favorite of mine. I can't say I ever picked up a copy of Omaha the Cat Dancer, but I from what I saw of it remember thinking that the artwork was a notch above most of the adults-only comics that were around.

Band of Critters
Sometimes you have to take a break from all the angst and fisticuffs that comics usually offer and just kick back with good friends. good times and good music. That's what today's cover is all about. Not only is this a group of some of the most likable characters, they all have an affinity for playing musical instruments. I think it would definitely be cool to see them joining together in a jam session.
