A man whose technology has him living on borrowed time versus a menace with a body chemistry that will not let him stay dead.  Yes, this could make for an interesting match up.

Green Lantern and Marvel Boy

I liked Marvel Boy from his appearances in Fantastic Four when I was a kid and was glad to see him come back as The Uranian as a member of the Agents of Atlas.  I really dug that team, and I hope we haven't seen the last of them.
