Doctor Strange and The Terrifics

 

I don't keep up with many titles these days, opting to trade wait if something gets really great reviews.  One series I did pick up in total was The Terrifics.  A great cast of characters involved in old school comic action is what the title provided, and it was a fun read.  It's too bad the series was canceled, but with the rumors that James Gunn is looking to bring them to the big screen as part of the DCU, hopefully they will get another chance down the line.

Raven and Black Widow

 

Scarlett Johansson is seemingly done with the role of Black Widow, but who knows what will happen down the line?  Between time travel and the multiverse, there seems to be opportunity to bring her back if desired by Marvel Studios.  While I prefer death in the movies to have some permanence, and I enjoy Yelena as her replacement, I wouldn't mind seeing her back at least one more time - if only to have an adventure and possibly romance with Daredevil.  I loved the comics of my youth when they she shared his title. 

Mr. Terrific and E-Man

 

James Gunn seems to like Tweeting images that hint at his DC plans and one that really got fans talking was of Mr. Terrific.  Hopefully this means we'll be seeing Michael Holt on the big screen.  Hopefully with his team The Terrifics, that way we'll get Phantom Girl, Metamorpho and Plastic Man as well.

The Flash and Brother Voodoo

 

I was disappointed that Brother Voodoo did not make an appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Maybe it's for the best, most of the guest stars didn't fare too well! Still, Marvel seems to be opening up its more occult side with what we saw in the movie and with characters like Werewolf by Night on the way.  Hopefully, Jericho Drumm will find an appropriate project to make his debut in.

Green Lantern and Beta Ray Bill

I had figured that the third Thor film would be the last one for a while, but with the positive reaction from critics and audiences, as well as the new status quo, I'm thinking another installment is looking more likely.  Beta Ray Bill was teased in Thor: Ragnarok as one of the champion statues on the Grandmasters arena, and now I am ready for a full fledged co-starring role for him.  The work with Hulk and Korg shows that the motion capture technology is definitely there to bring him to life, all it would take is finding an actor with the right voice to portray him.
