Underdog and Snoopy

Here's another World's Finest inspired pairing, this time with some canine heroes taking the spotlight.  I think these two would get along famously.  Thanks to Simreeve for suggesting this team up!

Tintin, Snoopy and Underdog

What's better than dogs?  Dogs in space! I can't imagine what sort of mission would call for the aid of these three pooches, but it might be fun to watch it play out.

Ace and The Dogs of War in: "Stark Kraven Mad!"

Ace and the Dogs of War first appeared way back in STF #415.  Ace later joined Krypto in battling Kraven in STF #3505.  It looks like The Hunter is still perturbed by that altercation and is looking to take his revenge out on Ace's whole team.  What better reason to end their 9-year hiatus?

Mighty Mouse Vs. Underdog

We had lots of pets growing up.  The best thing about having mice was that they fit perfectly into all of our Weeble Wobble toys.  It was almost like they had little vehicles designed just for them.  I can see why creators like to anthropomorphize them so much, remembering those days.

This cover came about from a suggestion by comics historian and Patron of this blog, Marc Tyler Nobleman.  Thank you, Marc!

Krypto and Underdog

A meeting between the world's two greatest superhero pooches has been long overdue.  I have always loved Krypto, and I am glad that attempts to write him out of Superman's continuity are usually eventually undone.  Underdog was fondly remembered from my childhood, but I still couldn't get too excited about the movie version from a few years back - I don't think that live action was the best way to go.

Ace and the Dogs of War

I love superheroes and I love dogs, so when the two are combined it really captures my interest.  I know I am not the only one who must feel that way because once I started featuring new teams on this blog, an all-pooch crew was one of the more common requests I would get.  I think a team like this, once they stopped sniffing each other's butts, would be unstoppable!
