The Phantom Stranger and The Watcher in: "Holiday Spirits!"

I would like to take this time to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all.  2020 has been trying for everyone but I hope we can all find a way to still connect with our loved ones for the Holiday Season.  I truly appreciate all who take the time to visit this blog.  Comic reading and collecting has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, but almost always something I did on my own.  This blog has helped me reach out and share my love for the creators and characters in the world of comics with so many others, and that has been a real treat.  Thank you to those who share their comments, praise, corrections and suggestions for future covers, you help keep this a vibrant place.  A huge thank you of course goes to my Patreon Patrons - your support has helped this blog continue for over 10 years!  I can't tell you how much it means to me!

The Phantom Stranger first met The Watcher way back in STF #66...

Gyro Gearloose and Daffy Duck

Merry Christmas!  I'd like to take this time to thank all of the visitors to this blog for regularly checking out the covers and offering up your comments, suggestions and encouragement.  It's great to read the daily feedback and discussions that ensue both here on the blog and on the Facebook Fan Page and Twitter feed.  I may not respond to every suggestion (mainly because the answer is always the same - "Maybe, if I can find the right concept and images"), but I do read and appreciate them all. The biggest thank you goes out to the Patrons of this Blog, your support has helped it to continue. Next year it will hit its 10th Anniversary, and you have helped it get to this point.  I hope that everyone is surrounded by their loved ones today and your holidays are filled with joy. Here's looking forward to 2020!

I'd like to take this time to wish all of the visitors to this blog a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.  I hope that you are spending this day in the company of the ones you love and it is filled with joy.  It's been another fun year on the blog, passing STF #2000, with over 2500 overall and getting close to the 5 millionth visitor!  Pros like Tony Isabella, Gail Simone and Patrick Zircher and more have contributed cover ideas, quite an honor.  It's been fun to have appearances on Geek to Me Radio, His Dork World/Her Dork World and to be featured on The Geeky Gentlemen podcast, thanks to all of them for having me.  This year the comments section has become quite interesting and active, it's been fun to read. I truly appreciate all the kind words, comments and suggestions therein.  Of course, a huge thanks to the Patrons of this blog - your support makes a huge difference! It's been a blast, here's to another year!

Christmas With The Super-Heroes 2014

The cover with far and away the most page views on this blog is STF #57, in which Spider-Man is rejected for Justice League membership.  I'm not sure why that particular cover gained such a life of its own, but I felt it was high time the Leaguers let poor Peter Parker into their team.

It's been another great year for STF: The Lost Issues.  The readership has grown and I've been honored to have made appearances on Compton After Dark and the Clobberin' Time Podcast as well as receiving a mention in the great Back Issue magazine.  I would like to take this time to say thank you to everyone who has paid a visit to this blog over the past year.  I truly appreciate the support from folks who regularly visit here and especially those who take the time to comment and let me know how they feel about my covers.  Thanks for the cool suggestions as well!  A special thank you goes to the folks who have shown their support by making a one-time contribution or becoming a patron of the blog.  Every little bit helps, and your continued support makes a big difference!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays!  May today be spent in the company of the ones you love! Coming soon: The STF 1000th Issue Spectacular!

Jack Skellington and Ghost Rider

Who needs Rudolph to lead your sleigh when you have Ghost Rider's flaming cycle?

I'd like to wish a Merry Christmas to everyone who takes time out to visit the blog.  I truly appreciate all of the feedback and kind words that you have given me.  It's been another fun year creating covers, and I hope that you will continue to make Super-Team: The Lost Issues a regular stop!

Now get off the computer and spend some holiday time with your loved ones!

The Superman Family and The Fantastic Four

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday today close by the ones the love the most.  I truly appreciate everyone who takes the time to check out the blog, it is a labor of love and it has made me happy to see it grow in popularity over the past year.  I especially appreciate those visitors who leave feedback - positive, negative or neutral.  It can be hard to tell what is working or not on here and I am always interested in reading reactions.  Thanks for all the cool suggestions too - and the patience in waiting for me to get around to them.  I have a bunch of reader request covers coming up and I hope they will be worth the wait.  So, stay tuned!  There are hundreds more covers coming and 2013 will see the switch from MS Paint to Photoshop as my cover-creating program, so we're just getting started! Merry Christmas!

Batman and The Grinch

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all of the Lost Issues readers! I truly appreciate everyone who makes the time to stop in and check out the covers and I wish you a great holiday season close by the ones you love.  The blog grew in popularity last year and hopefully will continue to do so in 2012.  I was glad to ge a chance to use the Grinch here, star of perhaps the greatest Christmas cartoon ever.  You really can't go wrong with the combination of Doctor Seuss, Chuck Jones and Boris Karloff!

Make sure you come back Monday for the ALL-NEW Lost Issues!  Be here on the ground floor of a bold new era!

The Thing and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Stepping out of the alphabetical listings to present a Seasonal cover. I always was amazed by the Rankin-Bass Christmas Specials when I was a kid, I found the stop motion animation fascinating. Rudolph especially is one I can watch over and over and it never gets old.

Yes, I know that The Thing is Jewish, but that's never stopped him from participating in Christmas or even wearing a Santa suit for Marvel's holiday specials! I am very thankful for all the regular viewers of this blog and I wish each an every one of you a wonderful holiday season, close by the ones you love!
