Katana and Valkyrie

I was hoping to see Tessa Thompson in the classic blue/black outfit with the breastplates during her turn as Valkyrie in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok.  Alas, judging by the trailer,  they kept the blue cape but not much else.  I was pleasantly surprised to see that she will eventually make a change into a costume that very closely resembles her white and gold outfit that she wore for a time in The Defenders, so that will be pretty cool.

The Gargoyle and Green Arrow

I was a fan of The New Defenders, (as the final couple of years of Marvel's first Defenders series was called).  The stories were fun, but what I really liked was the line up - Angel, Ice-Man, Beast, Moondragon, Valkyrie and Gargoyle.  after the series ended, all of the other characters found homes in other team titles except for Isaac Christians, The Gargoyle.  He's made only a handful of small appearances since, and it's too bad because I think he is a great character with a unique perspective.  I'd love to see him featured more prominently somewhere.

Red Tornado and The Vision in "Who Stole Humanity?"

The Red Tornado will be appearing in the upcoming Supergirl TV series and the first picture of him has surfaced.  Not bad, but I do wish he looked a little more robotic - right now he looks like what he is, a guy with his face painted red.  As cheesy as it is, I do miss the arrow on his forehead. Still, I have only seen one picture from the chest up - perhaps it will look more impressive when his powers are in use.
